We believe that everyone has the potential to get to breakthrough, but it requires a different way of thinking to make positive change.
What does it take to turn a group of talented individuals into a winning team? In this special, finals-week episode, Washington Spirit captain Aubrey Kingsbury—two-time NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year and recent quarterfinals Player of the Week—joins guest host Bec Heinrich for an unfiltered look at forging trust within a truly diverse lineup. Bringing the Breakthrough Manifesto’s ‘enlist a motley crew’ principle to life, Aubrey shares stories of uniting teammates from around the world, navigating pressure-packed moments, and turning differences into strengths. From edge-of-your-seat penalty shootouts to everyday acts of leadership, Aubrey’s stories offer practical wisdom for anyone eager to spark connection and inspire results—on the field, in business, or wherever the stakes are highest.
