Andy is the Vice Chair for Deloitte Private in the UK and also leads our national Deloitte Private Tax and Legal practice. Andy has recently developed the Deloitte Private CFO Programme focused on supporting senior and executive level finance professionals along their career journey in private and PE backed businesses. Andy is a tax partner and supported many of our high-profile clients in the privately owned and private equity backed space. His support includes helping these businesses in structuring transactions/IPO’s, international expansion and meeting the complex compliance obligations that these events bring.

Mo is a Tax and Legal Partner. Mo provides advice to multinationals to ensure that their acquisitions and disposals, restructurings, domestic and cross border financing, intellectual property considerations, transfer pricing, and tax and legal compliance happen efficiently and effectively. As part of this, Mo regularly leads a global network partners on complex multidisciplinary projects for clients. He has an advisory and disputes focused practice, and has gained significant experience in negotiating clearances and agreements with taxation authorities, negotiating positions in commercial transactions, and working with taxpayers in the contemplation of litigation. Mo’s experiences have exposed him to a vast range of tax work, and he is known for combining his technical expertise with an understanding of a client’s commercials to deliver practical and implementable advice. Mo is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Mo is responsible for a number of areas within the practice, which are: UK Business Tax Clients and Markets Leader; UK/US Market Corridor Leader for the Tax and Legal practice; and Global Finance and Treasury Tax Competency Leader.

Abi is a Partner in the Indirect Tax practice in the UK with 20 years work experience in VAT. Abi leads our Technology, Media and Telecoms (“TMT”) Indirect Tax team in both the UK and EMEA, and is the UK firms Tax lead for the Technology industry. Abi’s focus is on advising typically multinational businesses operating in the TMT sector. Often this will involve supporting them globally including advising on the indirect tax implications of expanding into new territories or how a new product or offering should be treated for VAT purposes. In addition, with rapidly changing rules around the taxation of the Digital Economy, Abi’s focus has been in supporting businesses impacted by these changes to understand the impact on their business, as well as manage their compliance and risk associated with these changes.
