Large multinational groups will be publishing their country-level tax information this year, most for the first time ever, as a consequence of the EU Public Country By Country Reporting (PCBCR) requirements. These rules are a big reason why ‘Tax Transparency and Reporting’ is the number one tax issue cited by leaders in our latest Global Tax Policy Survey. In the survey, over 80% of respondents had moderate to high concerns regarding all aspects of their response to these rules. On this webcast we will explore:
- Rules: are we exposed to earlier reporting requirements? eg like Spain and Hungary
- Risks: are there commercial, tax or other reputational concerns regarding the disclosures?
- Data: do we need to change/enhance our approach to gathering our CBCR data?
- Technology: Choices, considerations & options for gathering, verifying and ultimately reporting?
- Choices: are there choices which could mitigate our exposure to additional reporting, penalties and help us align with other requirements (eg Australia)?
