Navigating the EU AI Act

The EU AI Act, as the first comprehensive, legally binding framework for AI from a major global economy, marks a pivotal moment in AI regulation.

With implementation underway and mandatory AI literacy requirements in effect since 2 February 2025, understanding the Act’s implications is essential for decision-makers. Embedding effective AI governance — including AI inventories, clear accountability and governance frameworks, robust human oversight, and comprehensive risk management throughout the AI lifecycle — hinges on understanding the requirements in the AI Act.
