Responsible Business in Wales
Through our relationships with two Cardiff schools and our charity partner Llamau, we’re bringing our 5 Million Futures ambtion to life, and making an impact that matters with young people and vulnerable women in Wales.
In 2016, Deloitte set out its One Million Futures strategy, to make an impact that matters to one million people in the UK.
Working alongside our network of charities, schools and social enterprises, we reached our target by 2020, a year ahead of schedule. Now we’ve raised our game and have a new target aiming to impact a further 5 Million Futures across Europe as part of our global WorldClass ambition to help 50 Million Futures by 2030.
In Wales, we’ve been working with the charity Llamau and two secondary schools – Fitzalan High and Eastern High – to help reach this ambitious goal and impact futures in our local community.

Through these relationships, our people make connections and make a real difference, sharing their skills and passions to help young people on their path towards a bright future.
Managed and operated by people in our Cardiff office, our local charity and school relationships present unique opportunities to bring our purpose to life and for our people to get involved, address inequalities and provide individuals with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed, which helps them overcome barriers to education and employment.
At Deloitte in Wales, we’re looking forward to building on the relationships we have with our schools and charity partnerships and are committed to reaching many more people in our local community.
In 2019, we also set up New Beginnings in association with Cardiff and Vale College, a free employability skills training programme for adults to help them kick-start their careers or get back into work. The college has welcomed a number of new cohorts since its inception.

Our Cardiff office has worked with Fitzalan High School for a number of years and we are proud to support students and teachers on a number of initiatives.
Our charity partner in Cardiff is Llamau and we are committed to positively impacting the lives of vulnerable women and young people in Wales.
Deloitte in Wales is committed to our school partnership with Eastern High School and helping students to raise their aspirations and reach their potential.
