Commenting on today’s Spring Forecast, Amanda Tickel, head of tax and trade policy at Deloitte UK, said:
“The Spring Forecast delivered the anticipated focus on fiscal stability, with a deliberate respite from new tax announcements. However, the UK tax landscape continues to evolve, with a raft of already legislated changes set to impact businesses and individuals as they take effect throughout 2026. Further policy developments are anticipated, with around 50 tax areas currently under review – we expect to see progress on some of these in the next few weeks.”
