Vladimir Kutasov is a Senior Manager in Deloitte's Controls team in London with over 13 years of experience across SOX advisory projects, finance transformation, external and internal audit.
Over the past six years Vladimir has predominantly focused on financial controls advisory projects for the US listed clients or clients preparing for the US or UK listing and aiming to enhance their Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
Vladimir has successfully led large cross border SOX programmes covering:
- Assistance with SOX scoping and identification of in scope IT applications
- SOX implementation for the newly acquired European entities of multinational US listed clients
- SOX readiness assessment and training for the smaller entities preparing to be in SOX scope
- SOX implementation and internal control enhancement for the UK private businesses looking to list in the US
- Full cycle SOX attestation projects from process mapping, identification of key risks and controls to control design improvement, operating effectiveness testing, and support in evaluation and remediation of control deficiencies.
- Vladimir has broad experience of coordinating complex SOX projects across multiple locations and cooperating with diverse teams in Europe, USA, Australia and navigating complex organisational and IT landscapes.
Aside from project delivery Vladimir co-developed training materials and delivered face to face SOX related training for his engagement teams and clients across different levels: from control owner level to C-suite level.
