Tom Cope has over a decade of experience dedicated to the energy sector, advising public and private organisations on policy development, transaction execution, and a wide range of commercial and financial matters.
Throughout his career, Tom has worked with governments, major corporations, private equity firms, lenders, start-ups, and project developers, providing strategic insights and practical solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the energy industry.
In recent years Tom has focused on helping organisations navigate the complexities of the energy transition. He has been involved in several of the UK’s flagship energy programmes, including carbon capture, hydrogen policy, and nuclear energy. With a deep understanding of the sector, Tom supports clients to align policy, commercial, and sustainability objectives to drive innovative outcomes.
