Romy brings deep specialism in recovery, resolution, contingency and restructuring planning & execution for financial services clients. She has been working actively in this area since new regulation was developed following the global financial crisis.
She leads large-scale programmes with major banks globally, working closely with Senior Management and Boards to prepare for potential distress. In addition, Romy brings practical experience on bank resolution.
Before joining Deloitte in 2019, Romy worked in the Resolution Directorates at the Bank of England and the Dutch Central Bank (DNB), where she worked closely with the Single Resolution Board (SRB) and authorities globally.
