In my client work, I advise senior leaders within the UK’s life insurance sector across a range of issues from risk management to finance and regulatory change.
I have 20 years’ experience within the industry and specialise in capital and risk management, finance change, corporate restructuring and UK with-profits. I have performed the roles of Actuarial Function Holder and With-Profits Actuary as well as being an interim Chief Risk Officer at two FTSE 100 insurance companies. I have also been a member of a With-Profits Committee.
Within Deloitte, I run our Actuarial Insurance and Banking practice across both the life and general insurance markets. Key proposition areas for the team are Actuarial Advisory (M&A; restructuring; Section 166 reviews; capital optimisation); Finance, Risk and Actuarial Transformation (actuarial modelling; actuarial technology; actuarial implementation; process; organisational design) and Core Actuarial (including audit and regulated roles).
