Matthew serves as a Director in our Audit & Assurance practice in Guernsey, where he has built extensive expertise in providing audit and related services to a diverse portfolio of clients across the financial services sector.
His industry focus covers “alternatives” in both the listed and private funds space - including private equity, venture capital, real estate and structured finance. He is also responsible for serving a range of investment management & wealth businesses from family offices through to globally recognised managers and is one of the firm’s accredited individuals to lead UK CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook) assurance engagements.
As one of the firm’s financial instrument specialists Matthew has developed deep experience assessing complex accounting judgements and estimates, including valuations under IPEVC Guidelines. He is also a member of the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants (‘GSSCA’) Technical Committee.
