Karen has over 30 years of experience in practice, and currently leads Deloitte UK’s tax and broader services to the professional services industry, serving the vast majority of the more complex international law firms and many other advisory businesses.
During her time at Deloitte, she has held several roles on the firm’s governance boards and committees, and currently chairs the Partnership Council.
Karen is a chartered accountant, chartered governance practitioner and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She is Deloitte’s ambassador to the charity Tax Aid, is a Freeman of the City of London, and is co-author of Ray: Partnership Taxation. Until recently she volunteered with Young Enterprise for several years.
