I am an audit and assurance partner based in London and have been with Deloitte for almost 25 years. I have been a Partner since 2012 and have extensive experience of working with a large range of listed and private companies, including some of our largest global clients, providing audit, accounting and transaction advisory services.
I am currently the lead audit partner for BP plc. I lead our global team, taking responsibility for all audit judgments, complex accounting matters, the group’s public reporting in the UK and the US and presenting to the Board and Audit Committee. This responsibility includes a large commodity trading business and extensive ESG assurance. As well as providing audit services, I advise my clients on a wide range of commercial and accounting matters including technical advice, financing and due diligence.
I was previously a member of the Executive of our public interest audit business, responsible for the performance and operational management of over 800 partners and audit professionals in London and the South-East and a member of the UK Audit Executive, with a specific responsibility for audit quality.
I am a huge sports fan, a lifelong supporter of Coventry City and a season ticket holder at my local club, Fulham. I attended 26 events at the London Olympic Games in 2012, beat that total with 27 at Paris 2024 and have travelled to watch sport and in particular football around the world, including the European Championships and Champions League (sadly not to watch CCFC or FFC).
I am a founding governor and Chair of Reach Schools in Feltham, a multi academy trust of “all-through” schools providing free education for children from ages 2 to 18 in areas of high social deprivation, committed to providing every child with a life of choice and opportunity. Reach Academy Feltham was the first such school to be rated outstanding by OFSTED in all areas. I have also been a trustee of the Reach Foundation, a charity supporting families in need, from cradle to career.
