James is a Director and Head of International Trade at Deloitte UK. He leads a team of specialists undertaking analysis and providing expertise on global trade policy and the geopolitical environment.
James helps clients and the wider Deloitte practice to navigate the complexities of upcoming policy changes, interpret fast-moving political developments and understand how shifts in the global economy can shape strategic choices.
Prior to his current role, James was an adviser to Deloitte. He has wide-ranging experience in Westminster, including as a government special adviser, an adviser to a political party, a director at a political consultancy and at the UK Parliament. James holds an undergraduate politics degree, a master’s degree in public policy and is a Policy Fellow at the University of Cambridge.
