Ethan Bornakovs

Ethan specialises in energy M&A transactions and advises public and private sector energy clients on driving the net zero transition.

Prior to joining Deloitte, he led the development of funding and financing policies for small modular reactors at the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (now the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero). Additionally, he was a strategic and business adviser to a prominent European small modular reactor developer.

Ethan has also acted as a buy-side adviser to international strategic investors on floating offshore wind, fixed offshore wind, battery storage and electric vehicle transactions.
