Andrew has 19 years’ experience in the financial services industry having qualified as a chartered accountant in Financial Services audit with Deloitte in London. Andrew specialises in Banking and Building Society technical accounting advisory and audit projects in London and the South West.
Andrew is a Director within the London Treasury Assurance team which specialises in FS Treasury audit and assurance work. As a senior financial instruments reviewer much of his focus is directed toward answering complex hedge accounting queries under IFRS including IFRS 9 and IAS 39 where applicable.
Andrew can distil the complexities of hedging activities into straight forward explanations focusing on the principles of derivative valuation, financial instruments and hedge accounting.
