Policing: Mission Possible

After a summer of disorder, crime and policing has been high on the new government’s agenda. A central plank of its mission-based approach is the Safer Streets Mission, with powerful commitments that are likely to be enacted through the Crime and Policing Bill. In this paper, Sir Dave Thompson and I explore some of the steps we see for government in achieving this mission.
