New Zealand Ports and Freight Yearbook 2023

Navigating the new normal

Resilience in challenging times

Our 2023 Ports and Freight Yearbook sets course for the ‘new normal’. The operating environment for all those in the supply chain consists of an increasingly complex mix of hazards, which show little sign of disappearing. To successfully navigate this ‘new normal’ organisations, including those in the supply chain, need to adapt and evolve.

The Yearbook offers insights into how organisations can secure their resilience, as well as insights relevant to the economic outlook, climate change, ESG more broadly, and engaging with the Māori economy. We also present a concise picture on the performance of New Zealand’s port sector.
