Rory is an experienced management consultant, health executive and Partner at Deloitte. His passion is making change happen by collaborating with diverse groups of leaders, clinicians, whānau and communities to develop practical solutions to complex systemic problems. He believes consulting engagements should leave a legacy of capability within the client organisation to continue an ongoing pursuit of positive social impact.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Rory worked for Francis Health for over 14 years and was fortunate to work with a broad range of health organisations across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. He was the Managing Partner for Francis Health in New Zealand for nine years.
Rory’s experience is shaped by collaboration with the health sector for over 20 years on facilitation, strategy, performance improvement, data and digital, and service design. He is particularly adept in partnering with wide groups of stakeholders holding diverse opinions to galvanise projects, embed buy-in and achieve sustainable outcomes.
Over his career, he has worked at both operational and strategic levels with most of the DHBs, the Ministry of Health, ACC and the HQSC as well as many PHOs, Regulators and Professional Bodies.
