When I played sports as a young boy in South Island, I found my passion for developing winning teams.
As I navigated the sports fields, I learned how to have a solution focused mindset. This stayed with me as I began my career, and along with a pragmatic approach I’m able to help my clients by bringing a specialised skillset to help them overcome their challenges.
Being a specialist in financial reporting and complex accounting I have significant experience across a large range of clients of various sizes. Additionally, I’ve also been involved in several internal audits and assisted clients with the implementation of the Chinese Sarbanes Oxley (C-Sox) framework.
Since leading the Dunedin office’s most high-profile clients, I have recently transitioned to an advisory role where I have worked with clients on projects including implementation of new accounting standards, accounting for business acquisitions and IPO readiness and hedge accounting.
