Auckland, 23 October 2024 – Innovative Kiwi businesspeople and entrepreneurs are celebrating tonight, after their businesses were named Deloitte Fast 50 regional category winners at events held across the country.
The regional winner announcements are the first step in the Fast 50 awards process, culminating in the national Deloitte Fast 50 celebration held in Auckland on 20 November. At this event, the Deloitte Fast 50 index, national category winners, and national Master of Growth index will all be unveiled.
Deloitte Private Partner, James Arlidge, says the diversity of this year’s regional winners reinforces New Zealand’s reputation for innovation and changing the game, despite challenging economic head winds.
“From bespoke travel experiences and tech solutions to steel fabrication and sustainable hair and body products, our regional winners are setting the pace for fast-growing businesses around the country and overseas,” says Arlidge.
“The 2024 Fast 50 theme, ‘Get set, grow: the future favours the fast’, highlights the similarities between Kiwi innovators and their equally determined athlete counterparts in high performance sport. Our Fast 50 winners are consistently pushing the limits and raising the bar, whether they’re driving customer experiences, introducing new products to the market, or harnessing innovative technologies,” continues Arlidge.
These companies have earned their place at the national Deloitte Fast 50 celebrations in November, where they will get the chance to hear from inspirational speakers, network with other winners – both past and present – and interact with industry experts.
Tune in on 20 November to find out how today’s regional winners place when the national 2024 Deloitte Fast 50 index is also released.
