El 9 de junio de 2026, la Presidencia de la República publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF) el Decreto por el que se establecen diversas medidas administrativas con motivo de la inauguración de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2026 en la Ciudad de México.
La medida tiene como objetivo reducir afectaciones a la movilidad urbana, garantizar la seguridad vial y facilitar el desplazamiento de personas durante el evento.
