Jong Sung Hong is the CEO and Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Korea.
Prior to his current role, Jong Sung served as Deloitte Korea's Managing Partner of Financial Advisory and previously led Deloitte Korea’s M&A practice. With more than 30 years of experience in financial advisory and audit services, he is a Certified Public Accountant in Korea, specializing in financial due diligence and M&A structuring services.
Jong Sung’s contributions to the profession have been widely recognized. In 2022, he received an award from the Korea Auditors Federation in the field of external auditing for his commitment to fostering a quality-oriented organizational culture and strengthening internal monitoring to uphold Deloitte Korea’s independence.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Jong Sung serves as an auditor for the Shinhan Scholarship Foundation, a nonprofit organization of Shinhan Group, and for the Korea Choongang Education Foundation. He also gained international experience working at Deloitte Vietnam for two years (1997~1999) and completed INSEAD’s Executive Leadership Program as well as Seoul National University’s Advanced Management Program (AMP).
