Please note that candidates who meet the Academy criteria typically have the following background:

  • A potential successor to the corporate CLO in the next three to five years.
  • An individual who has the ability to be the corporate CLO of another significant company in the next
    three years.
  • An immediate successor to the CLO of a large division.
  • A current CLO of a large division who may be a potential successor to the corporate CLO in three years.

While we use the term CLO in our materials, this Academy is also open to candidates who meet one of these criteria to be a General Counsel.
