Deloitte Ireland boosts AI and cybersecurity expertise with two new Partner appointments

March 18th 2026: Deloitte Ireland has announced the appointment of two new Partners, Noelle Doody and Malcolm Barske, further boosting the firm’s expertise in artificial intelligence, data and cybersecurity and strengthening its market-leading Consulting capabilities.

The appointments reflect Deloitte’s continued investment in world-class talent as organisations across Ireland accelerate digital transformation and adopt emerging technologies such as generative AI, advanced analytics and cyber resilience frameworks.

Noelle Doody joins Deloitte with deep expertise in data, analytics and AI transformation, bringing more than two decades of experience delivering large-scale programmes for major organisations.

She joins from Accenture, where she served as Ireland Data and AI Lead, leading strategic initiatives across many sectors. In addition to consulting, Noelle has also held leadership positions in industry, most notably utilities.

In her new role at Deloitte, she will focus on driving strategic growth and innovation within the firm’s AI & Data practice, collaborating with leadership teams to expand capabilities and deliver transformative outcomes for clients.

Malcolm Barske joins Deloitte with more than 25 years of experience in technology consulting and cybersecurity, specialising in large-scale security transformation programmes.

He has worked extensively across Ireland, the UK and South Africa, advising organisations across financial services, healthcare and the public sector. Malcolm has deep expertise in helping organisations design and implement security programmes that align with broader business objectives while strengthening resilience against evolving cyber threats.

With a strong background in technical delivery, Malcolm will work on complex programmes for some of the most high-profile Deloitte clients, spanning the full lifecycle of cybersecurity transformation, from strategy and architecture through to deployment and optimisation. His work enables organisations to respond proactively to cyber risk while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational stability.

Commenting on the appointments, Harry Goddard, CEO of Deloitte Ireland says as the number one professional services firm globally, Deloitte continues to expand its leadership team to help clients move faster and smarter:

The timing is excellent too as Deloitte Ireland’s move into a single Deloitte EMEA firm. Bringing our EMEA businesses together into one integrated firm gives us the scale, capital and cohesion to move faster across 80 countries.
Our €1.5 billion GenAI investment over the next four years means we can help organisations scale faster, navigate regulatory complexity and compete in a more fragmented global economy.
The appointment of both Noelle Doody and Malcolm Barske form part of Deloitte Ireland’s broader strategy to expand its leadership in AI, cybersecurity and digital transformation, ensuring clients have access to the expertise, technology and global reach required to compete in an increasingly complex and interconnected economy.
