Deloitte Ireland, the global number one strongest professional services brand and No.1 by revenue in the Gartner® Market Share: Security Services, Worldwide, and AccountsIQ, the leading cloud accounting platform for mid-market businesses, have announced a collaboration to better support mid-market companies through periods of growth and transformation.
As part of the collaboration, Deloitte Ireland and AccountsIQ will work together to support Deloitte clients seeking more scalable and insight-driven finance systems. AccountsIQ’s cloud accounting platform provides multi-entity finance management, reporting and business intelligence capabilities, alongside automation designed to help finance teams streamline processes and gain greater visibility over financial performance.
As businesses scale, their financial reporting requirements can become increasingly complex. Deloitte Ireland has identified a growing technology need among businesses with revenues between €30 million and €150 million that may be outgrowing entry-level finance systems or spreadsheet-based processes.
By collaborating, Deloitte Ireland and AccountsIQ can better support ambitious mid-market businesses as they grow, attract investment and strengthen their finance functions. The collaboration brings together Deloitte Ireland’s cross-industry experience supporting growing businesses with AccountsIQ’s cloud-based financial management technology.
“In recent years, we’ve seen a significant increase in the attractiveness of Irish indigenous businesses to private equity investors in Ireland, the UK and the US. Typically, when institutional or strategic investors buy in to owner-founded businesses, there is a requirement to enhance management and financial reporting. Spreadsheets alone are unlikely to do the job for long. AccountsIQ offers an intuitive and affordable solution for many of these companies.”
said Ian Whitefoot, Partner at Deloitte Ireland.
“Deloitte works with some of the world’s leading business teams and, with this collaboration, we can help ambitious mid-market companies build finance functions fit for growth."
said Darren Cran, CEO of AccountsIQ.
"Unlike many competing platforms, our platform is designed with mid-market businesses in mind. In the age of AI and automation, AccountsIQ’s current features and product roadmap will support the future strategy of Deloitte Ireland’s clients."
said Darren Cran, CEO of AccountsIQ.
