What does it take to perform at the highest level in the world? If you ask elite athletes how to turn potential into peak performance, you might hear about hours of grit and sacrifice, highs and lows, practice and pain, winning and losing, then going for gold all over again. And tenacious support teams.
If you ask organizers of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, it’s about planning hundreds of events, welcoming thousands of athletes, training tens of thousands of volunteers, selling tickets to over 12 million spectators, and bringing the world’s biggest sporting stage to around 5 billion fans at home. Countless high-performance teams—seen and unseen—make it all possible.
Over years of preparation, a host city evolves from a small team into a spectacular team of teams, including key partners who provide operational and technological capability at scale.
Deloitte is the integrator at the heart of that team.
With Deloitte’s experience in sports, data-driven marketing, and advanced technologies, we have joined the IOC and other partners to create a “one team” model that we believe can have a positive and lasting impact on the IOC, Organizing Committees, and the fan experience.

Deloitte brings technology experience, operations experience, program management, and integration—many components that an Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games needs to work in concert, to be able to turn possibilities into reality at scale.
- Ken Corless, CTO & Director of Olympic Games Technology, Deloitte Consulting LLP
As part of a ten-year partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Deloitte is helping to establish a new integrated technology infrastructure and Games platform to enhance the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
For the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano-Cortina 2026, through to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032, Deloitte will be the Global Technology Integration Partner for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Each edition has unique requirements and technology challenges. With thousands of workplan milestones to achieve each time, high performance is crucial.
Deloitte’s work includes supporting access to the Olympic Games for tens of millions of fans both online and at venues and enabling each venue to be technologically equipped to host tens of thousands of guests at a time. It means years of coordination with dozens of technology service integrators and service providers to create a technologically advanced, inclusive, and memorable experience for everyone involved.
The Olympic and Paralympic Movements must balance athlete, fan, and stakeholder experience with efficient, sustainable, and reliable real-time operations. With the IOC, Deloitte is focused on creating repeatable processes and technology that can be configured for each edition of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In doing so, Deloitte hopes to maximize impact, reduce waste, and empower host cities to build on the successes of previous years, all while flattening the cost curve to deliver the world’s biggest sporting event.
