Empowerment through diversity and inclusion.

Do you flourish when you can be yourself? We do too.

At Deloitte, inclusion means embracing everyone’s voice and perspective. We celebrate and value our diversity, combine our strengths and create space for new ideas to flourish. Here’s what you can expect.

Equal opportunity to grow

Discover an environment where you can be yourself and where your ideas matter. By embracing different perspectives and backgrounds, we foster empathetic communities, enhance collaboration, and support overall success.

Our people represent approximately 70 nationalities with diverse backgrounds, career paths, generations, and ambitions. We don’t believe everyone has to follow the same path or fit into a specific box. Your uniqueness expands our horizons. Together, we find new ways to tackle complex challenges – every day.

Collaboration across borders and functions

At Deloitte, you’ll work in multicultural teams across Switzerland and the global Deloitte network.

The ideas that emerge from our unique combination of skills, wide range of backgrounds, approaches and views create real impact. Our diversity is our strength. Our inclusive culture delivers on our purpose.

Promoting equity through dedicated initiatives and benefits

We stand for equity and are committed to ensuring that everyone feels respected, valued and celebrated. Our employee-led communities aim to empower individuality, spread cultural awareness, create a safe space to have courageous conversations, and inspire allyship and advocacy. We actively encourage our people to join as members and allies.

Together, these vibrant communities of committed individuals organise inspiring events throughout the year, featuring both internal and external speakers. These groups and events are open to all and if you cannot join in person, we ensure that you have remote access to actively participate and engage. Currently, we have the following networks for our communities and their allies:

  • Women Initiative Network
  •  Proud LGBT+ Community
  • Multicultural Community Network
  • Neurodiversity Network
  • DEFY – Network supporting employees with disabilities
  • Working Parents Community
  • And multiple social and sporting networks

In addition, you’ll have numerous opportunities to grow and develop through initiatives and developmental programmes, such as mentoring programmes for women, inclusive leadership labs, “Find Your Why” sessions to explore your purpose, as well as individual coaching and group sessions for working parents. At Deloitte, we offer the same parental leave to all non-birthing parents, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.

Empowering and connecting our people goes beyond skills and knowledge

Inclusion comes in many forms. That’s why we have launched several initiatives that help build a genuinely inclusive environment:

  • We provide resources and training programmes in support of an inclusive culture and leadership.
  • We run mentorship programmes for female leaders which include dedicated developmental initiatives, as well as various communities across the firm. We are also a proud member of Advance (Gender Equality in Business).
  • We offer a comprehensive portfolio of well-being offerings and initiatives, carefully built around our holistic approach to mental and physical well-being, social connections, employee benefits and our Employee Assistance Programme & Personne de Confiance (MOVIS).
  • Every year, we celebrate International Women’s Day, World Culture Day, World Mental Health Day, Pride month, and many more.
  • Complementing these efforts, we have Inclusion Champions – senior leaders in each business line who actively promote a culture of inclusion, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued.
