Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility

Vision

Our DEIA vision is to continue evolving as a dynamic and inclusive organization where diverse perspectives from our people drive innovation, accessibility enhances productivity and equity fosters sustainable growth - resulting in exceptional client impact and shared prosperity. We strive for Deloitte Canada to be a place where everyone can succeed no matter where they are from or who they are. We can achieve this by fostering a workplace culture building on a foundation of respect and appreciation for diversity in all its forms, working to decolonize our practices, creating equitable processes and embedding inclusive behaviour throughout our daily lives. Learn more about our DEIA approach to talent.

Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Our RAP is a strategic framework that enables Deloitte Canada to support and advance reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Inuit, Métis), through tactile commitments and leadership under the four pillars of inclusion, education, employment, and economic empowerment.

Black Action Council (BAC)

Since signing the BlackNorth Initiative Pledge, which aims to address systemic racism, Deloitte Canada has formed a BAC. The BAC is guided by its four strategic pillars of education and awareness, equitable, and inclusive environment, employment, and talent life cycle, and marketplace and economic empowerment.

Equity and accountability

Deloitte Canada uses an employment self-identification questionnaire to track and monitor progress. Every full-time employee is asked to complete this questionnaire and can choose to self-identify or opt out. As highlighted in our 2025 Impact Report, Deloitte Canada’s demographic representation includes:

Community engagement and partnerships

Deloitte Canada’s commitment to DEIA extends beyond our walls, through meaningful collaborations with Lime Connect, Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB)IndspireBlackNorth Initiative (BNI), and many more.
