Varada Saraf is a Senior Manager in our Advisory practice in Toronto. She is a CPA, CA, with over 12 years of audit and advisory experience. She specializes in finance optimization projects including process improvement assessments, close optimizations, and finance visioning and post-merger integrations. She has deep experience in identifying inefficiencies in processes across companies and providing meaningful solutions to clients to improve their processes and navigate disruption.
She has effectively led various integration and separation engagements of large public entities, including consolidation, reporting, and project management and has obtained a deep understanding of financial reporting requirements, processes and controls, and the operational aspects of Finance. Her experience lies in developing best practices, developing integration plans, preparing consolidated financial statements, assessing complex accounting and reporting issues, developing accounting policies and models.
By effectively managing and executing various advisory engagements of large entities, she has been able to obtain a deep understanding of financial reporting requirements, processes and controls, and the operational aspects of Finance.
