Sabina Ghose is a Partner in Deloitte Canada's Risk Advisory practice with 16 years of experience in specialized assurance, internal audit and risk / controls advisory services. Sabina leads cross-functional teams serving some of Canada's largest public companies, as well as private and growth enterprises. She has a passion for building high performance teams, coaching and developing talent.
Sabina has also played national and global audit quality roles at Deloitte, focusing on enhancing IT audit quality for Deloitte’s largest Canadian public company audits regulated by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and the Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB). In this role, she performed engagement quality reviews, coaching and consultations support, as well as developed and delivered learning programs focused on audit quality and the IT Specialist role.
In addition, Sabina spent two years at CPAB, Canada’s audit regulator, where her role included IT audit inspections, thought leadership and stakeholder engagement. Her aim through this role was to enhance audit quality and investor protection by engaging in a dialogue and raising awareness among key stakeholders, including audit firms, audit committees, investors and preparers, about all aspects of audit quality.
