Pierre-Luc Pomerleau is a Partner in Financial Crime based in Montreal. His role consists of assisting clients managing their risks and protecting their assets while growing their business. He does so by bringing years of experience and deep expertise in financial crime, cybercrime, technology, and risk management.
Pierre-Luc worked more than 18 years in the three financial institutions as an executive and director in fraud risk management, corporate security and anti-money laundering.
Pierre-Luc holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Homeland Security. From 2020 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral researcher and a research associate in cybercrime at Georgia State University. His latest book Evidence-Based Cybersecurity; Foundations, Research, and Practice was published by Routledge (Taylor & Francis) in june 2022. He has presented, as a subject matter expert in fraud, security, and financial crime, at various conferences in Canada and in the United States.
