An Actuarial Transformation Leader in Deloitte Canada’s Actuarial and Insurance Solutions practice, he brings close to 15 years of life insurance experience across Asia, North America, and the Caribbean, with a focus on IFRS 17, actuarial modelling, financial reporting, governance, and transformation.
In 2025, Miguel spoke at a Canadian Institute of Actuaries conference on AI adoption in actuarial work. He believes AI creates the most value when paired with actuarial judgment, strong governance, and redesigned ways of working.
