Kristine is a National Immigration Practice lead for Deloitte Legal Canada (DLC). She practices in the area of Canadian citizenship and immigration law. Her main focus is assisting large corporate clients obtain Work Permits and permanent residency for their employees. She has over a decade of experience partnering with Mobility and HR teams to attract, move and retain their talent across borders and into Canada. She provides strategic advice on mobility and other policies geared towards business' mobile population.
She has also assisted clients in all aspects of Canadian immigration law, including family class applications and appeals; work, student, and visitor visas; humanitarian and compassionate applications; admissibility and enforcement matters, including appeals; and Federal Court litigation.
Kristine has extensive experience in dealing with Canadian consular offices abroad and immigration offices within Canada. She has argued cases before Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada on appeals and motions.
Kristine is also able to assist clients in French and Tagalog.
