As a Director and Leader of the Credit Risk practice, Jose brings almost 20 years of executive leadership experience across Consumer and Commercial Credit in North American and emerging markets. His background includes CRO accountabilities within several Big Five bank subsidiaries, VP roles across portfolios, and enterprise VP responsibility for Risk Technology. His experience spans the full retail credit lifecycle—from originations to collections—along with statistical modelling—regulatory and scoring—and the development of risk technology infrastructure. He also brings hands-on experience in commercial loan adjudication and loan work-outs across multiple industries.
A highlight of Jose’s career has been his leadership in modernizing risk functions, including embedding AI and analytics into risk decision-making and advancing decision automation. He has led successful implementations of large-scale risk technology transformations.
Jose is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with working knowledge of French.
