Jon leads Deloitte Canada’s Enterprise Value Creation offering, focused on the strategy and execution of P&L and balance sheet improvement through high-urgency performance transformations and transactions. 

He has over twenty-five years of M&A, corporate strategy, and operations consulting experience in Canada, the US, and the UK.  He’s served clients from small private companies and charities to large multi-nationals and ministries in identifying, driving, and realizing value through the application of M&A methods and discipline in both transaction and non-deal contexts. He practices across sectors, with depth in financial services (in particular, credit unions and banks), oil and gas, mining, and industrials.  

Jon’s specific specialities are in deal / portfolio strategy, synergy quantification & realisation, cost reduction, acquisitions / divestitures, operating model blueprinting, integration / separation / transformation management, transaction contracts, and procurement.
