Jonathan Goodman

Jonathan Goodman is a CEO and Board Advisor, Chair Emeritus of Monitor Deloitte, and a Special Advisor to Deloitte Canada, for which he is Executive Chair of the firm’s CEO and Boardroom Programs.

​For over three decades, Jonathan has worked closely with the CEOs, boards, and executive management of a variety of global corporations on issues of strategy, growth, M&A, organization, transformation, and CEO leadership.

He is formerly a partner, Vice Chair, and member of the Board of Deloitte in Canada.  He is the founder, long time leader and now Executive Chair of Deloitte Canada’s CEO Program.  He is also Executive Chair of Deloitte Canada’s Boardroom program and the founder and co-dean of Deloitte Canada’s Board Readiness program for its partners.

Between 2016 and 2021, Jonathan was the Global Managing Partner for Monitor Deloitte, overseeing the growth and development of Deloitte's strategy capability in over 30 countries around the world. He was subsequently the Chair of Monitor Deloitte’s inaugural Advisory Council

Jonathan joined Deloitte through the acquisition of Monitor in 2013. He originally joined Monitor in 1986, where he subsequently held a number of client service, executive, and board roles. He holds an undergraduate degree from York University in Toronto and an MBA from Harvard.​
