Dave is a behavioural scientist with over ten years of experience applying cutting-edge research in human judgment and decision-making to real-world challenges. He has led over 50 consulting mandates, successfully helping clients across several industries to develop evidence-based solutions to their toughest challenges.
Dave holds a PhD in Cognitive Experimental Psychology from McMaster University and completed three postdoctoral fellowships exploring human-computer interaction and the influence of automation on mind wandering and human performance. He is the recipient of the prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Award from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.
Dave’s research on human attention, perception, memory, and decision-making is published in numerous high-impact journals. Dave specializes in solving challenges in the energy and transportation domains for both private and public sector clients. He is particularly passionate about leveraging behavioural science to reduce demand-side carbon emissions among citizens and consumers.
