Christine Ramsay is a partner and the National Service Line Leader of Deloitte’s Transfer Pricing practice in Canada.

Based in Toronto, Christine brings over 25 years of transfer pricing experience, tax policy and business acumen to Deloitte. She has assisted multinational clients covering a broad cross-section of transfer pricing issues in a variety of situations from establishing, documenting and defending their transfer pricing policies.

Christine has advised numerous multinational companies in the following industries: mining, oil and gas, hospitality and leisure, media and entertainment, high-end luxury goods retail and wholesale, consumer products, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, business services, and trading companies.

The transactions addressed varied from transfers of tangible goods, provision of services, licensing of intangibles, determination of interest rates, to complex restructurings and redesigns of business and transfer pricing models as well as transaction flows.

Christine’s transfer pricing experience is also focused on Dispute Resolution. Christine has successfully defended companies in tax disputes, including the preparation of audit defense strategies and representing clients before the Canadian tax authorities in transfer pricing field audits and Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) assignments, in addition to advising clients through the Competent Authority process.
