As Chief Executive Officer (CEO)-elect of Deloitte Canada and Chile, Blaine is preparing to assume the role of CEO and brings with him extensive experience in Firm leadership, strategic transformation, and client service.
Blaine currently serves as Strategy & Transformation Officer, where he is focused on driving the Firm’s agenda and AI and transformation efforts, helping improve the way the Firm is functioning at the core to deliver greater impact and meaningful results for its clients, people, and communities. He also served as the Lead Client Service Partner for several important accounts. Blaine was previously the National Portfolio Leader for Deloitte Canada’s Strategy, analytics and M&A practice. As a partner, he has worked extensively with Deloitte’s clients to navigate complexity, drive innovation, and translate ambition and strategy into meaningful results.
Prior to Deloitte, Blaine served as a Policy Advisor to three (3) senior Cabinet Members within the federal government of Canada.
Blaine sits on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Region Board of Trade. He holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Western Ontario and Baccalaureate of Social Sciences with a concentration in Political Science from the University of Ottawa. In 2018, Blaine was named one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40.
