Axel Dassi leads Deloitte Canada’s data protection practice. He co-ordinates a Canada-wide pool of data protection specialists to deliver key initiatives and mitigate security risks. Over more than a decade, Axel has led a multitude of large projects for major Canadian and international clients operating across many sectors (including financial services, energy & resources, aerospace, public sector, industry, online gaming, retail etc.).
Axel specializes in designing information security strategies/programs, developing enterprise security architecture, and leading the delivery of large data protection & cyber transformation programs. He is also adept in project management and business process improvement, having led multiple technical implementations supporting regulatory reforms such as Law 25 in Quebec and C-27/C-8 in Canada.
