Alex Bellamy is a Senior Partner in our Audit & Assurance practice with a focus on serving our Pension and Private Equity business. She supports clients in all facets of finance, audit, operational process improvement and transformation.
Alex brings a wealth of experience having previously work as Chief Auditor and then Head of Strategy and Operations for the Real Assets investment program at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. She believes strongly in instilling in the organizations she works with the importance of partnership and end to end perspectives in all aspects of investment, finance and operational execution.
Since joining Deloitte, Alex has served several Canadian Pension and Private Equity clients and has recently taken on the role of National Leader for Internal Audit – Financial Institutions and is the newly appointed Business Industry Leader for Private Equity for Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance practice. In these roles she has supported the development of organization and function specific strategy, she has led a number of specialized audits including liquidity, cyber risk, and AI governance as well as a range of operational audits across financial services clients.
