Deloitte Belgium demonstrates resilience with stable revenue of €813.5 million in Financial Year 2026

In a challenging economic context marked by rapid technology acceleration, Deloitte demonstrates that its well-balanced portfolio of businesses and balanced portfolio of clients across segments and industries underpin its resilience.

Brussels, 1 October 2026

Deloitte achieved revenue of €813.5 million in Belgium in financial year 2026. This represents a slight decrease of 1% compared to the previous year, primarily resulting from ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty and geopolitical instability. Businesses are postponing strategic decisions and limiting investments in some areas. However, the impact remains limited and stems mainly from international collaboration, while the domestic business remains solid, underscoring the resilience of Belgium’s largest professional services provider.

The limited slowdown in FY26 demonstrated the resilience of Deloitte Belgium as the business navigated a more challenging environment. The conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East are disrupting global economic activity, pushing up energy prices, and affecting the risk appetite of many businesses. In addition, the acceleration of artificial intelligence is creating uncertainty for many business leaders about how to appropriately adopt AI solutions in their organisation. Despite these headwinds, the firm maintained its momentum and continued to deliver value for its clients. Globally, Deloitte achieved revenue of USD 74.5 billion, a 6% increase.

“This business reality means that many of our clients are taking a wait-and-see approach when it comes to investments,” says Rolf Driesen, CEO of Deloitte Belgium. “I have some sympathy for their position. There is a lack of stability and predictability, making strategic planning difficult. However, they need to accept that this is probably the new normal. Developing the muscle to sense the market, adapt quickly, and make investments as a first mover is becoming extremely important. Our multidisciplinary approach, sector focus, AI-enabled solutions, and our labs support our clients on this journey. Today’s clients are more tech-savvy than ever, yet many don’t know where to begin when deploying AI. They need a trusted partner who can help them avoid costly mistakes, seize the right opportunities, and fundamentally reinvent their business.”

Details of the financial performance

  • Audit & Assurance (A&A) delivered robust results in FY26, with net revenue reaching €100.0 million. Growth was driven by expanded mandates among large, complex organisations and robust demand for assurance services, particularly in sustainability, complex accounting, and IT/controls assurance. Quality and innovation underpin Deloitte's strategy. The firm has significantly invested in AI-enabled solutions and advanced analytics to enhance both the quality and relevance of audit and assurance work, while maintaining human oversight and responsible technology adoption. As regulatory and stakeholder demands for trust in financial and non-financial information, and governance around AI, continue to intensify, Deloitte is positioned as the trusted assurance partner for organisations navigating this increasingly complex landscape.
  • Tax & Legal (T&L) achieved net revenue of €336.1 million. This reflects a measured adjustment from the prior year, underscoring a deliberate focus on sustainable, value-driven growth. The market is filled with regulatory complexity, confirming the foundation of Deloitte’s strategy. Clients seek integrated solutions combining tax, legal, accounting, finance, and technology expertise. With its Integrated Services model, the Global Tax Centre Europe continues to strengthen Belgium's position as a pan-European hub for tax compliance. Furthermore, AI tools like KM.AI are delivering tangible value across advisory services, creating a leaner, more resilient practice positioned for the next phase of growth.
  • Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) closed FY26 with €83.0 million in revenue. SR&T focuses on value creation, regulation and M&A, supporting clients on some of their most critical decisions. Risk saw solid growth, particularly in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services and Life Sciences & Health Care. Organisations continued to seek guidance in navigating increasingly complex regulatory requirements, while activity in Life Sciences & Health Care increased through larger operating programmes focused on quality and compliance. Strategy had a slower start to the year but delivered a stronger second half, driven by demand for strategic and performance advice. Transactions recorded a solid first half, and maintained a healthy pipeline towards year-end.
  • Technology & Transformation (T&T) achieved revenue of €294.4 million. The core focus of the business is to deploy transformations enabled through technology in clients’ core processes. The biggest growth came from the Life Sciences, Financial Services, and Telecom sectors. Thanks to strong Belgian expertise and a multidisciplinary model, Deloitte successfully brought combined offerings such as Cyber, Finance, and Supply Chain to the client, while collaborating extensively within the international network. There was also strong demand for ERP implementations, such as SAP Private Cloud, and financial transformation projects.

Deloitte Private, included in the business-unit figures above, achieved revenue of €200.0 million and further strengthened its position as the trusted partner to Belgian family businesses, the families behind those businesses and their family offices, emerging growth companies, and investors. In the heart of the Belgian economy, these businesses remain the key focus area for Deloitte Private. By bringing together capabilities from across our multidisciplinary offerings, Deloitte Private helps clients strengthen and future-proof their organisations, navigate innovation and transformation, and create sustainable value for their businesses, owners, and society as a whole.

Cross-border collaboration with unique Belgian expertise and integrated teams

On 1 June 2026, Deloitte EMEA was officially launched, uniting 16 participating firms across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Operating in more than 80 countries with 6,000 partners and 132,000 professionals, Deloitte EMEA generates €20 billion in revenue and enables seamless cross-border collaboration. In EMEA, Deloitte Belgium acts as a strategic hub, recognised for its integrated, multidisciplinary teams and deep expertise in critical areas. The firm is a go-to geography for supply chain solutions (manufacturing to logistics and distribution), insurance-specific solutions, SAP, CRM and finance transformations. Belgium's Global Tax Centre Europe further strengthens the region's position as a pan-European hub for tax compliance, demonstrating how local excellence drives regional impact.

New leadership team elected to drive Deloitte Belgium’s 2030 ambitions

During FY26, Deloitte Belgium’s partners completed the election of a new leadership team to guide the firm through its next phase of growth and reinforce Belgium's strategic position within the new EMEA organisation. Kathleen De Brabander was elected Chair, while Rolf Driesen was re-elected as CEO for a second term, ensuring both renewal and continuity in the firm’s governance. A renewed Executive Committee was also appointed, bringing together experienced and new leaders from across the business. These leadership changes support Deloitte Belgium’s 2030 ambition to strengthen its market position, invest in talent and innovation, and further foster collaboration and entrepreneurship across Deloitte EMEA. The new Chair and Executive Committee officially assumed their mandates at the start of FY27, on 1 June 2026.

Ongoing AI integration accelerates transformation

Transforming delivery and operations through AI is a core priority, with Deloitte committing a global investment of US$3 billion in AI through fiscal year 2030. In EMEA, this will represent an investment of more than €1.5 billion in AI, sovereign cloud capability, sector-specific solutions, and innovation technologies.

“We are investing strategically in AI and technology capabilities that fundamentally reshape how we deliver our services,” states Driesen. “In addition to developing our own AI-enabled global and regional platforms, a key focus is supporting clients in deploying AI through Deloitte's AI Toolbox, which is probably the most flexible toolbox for AI value realisation in the world. It provides the building blocks to support clients in kick-starting AI, whether by securing AI investment funding, engineering scalable data solutions, or driving AI fluency and change management.”

Internally, Deloitte is leading by example. The rollout of AI productivity tools, including its agentic Solaria platform and GitHub Copilot, is achieving strong adoption. To ensure AI capability across the firm, Deloitte launched a comprehensive training initiative. The Solaria-Day-in-the-Life programme, covering the internal AI agent marketplace and practical application, reached over 1,000 colleagues in FY26. The AI Fluency Generalist learning achieved a 98.2% completion rate. Additionally, an AI Champions community of trained experts embedded across business units provides tailored, department-specific enablement. Combined, these initiatives demonstrate Deloitte's commitment to building AI fluency at scale.

Talent Development and the 'Human Skillset'

At the end of the financial year (31 May 2026), Deloitte Belgium counted 5,153 practitioners representing more than 75 different nationalities. For FY27, Deloitte promoted Marijn De Belie, Nike De Bruyn, Kirsten Delnooz, Jean-Philippe Draye, Tom Leyssen, Paul Marneffe, Hannes Poelmans, Francis Spillebeen, Magali Van Hollebeke, Jan Van Liempt and Lyn Venken to partner. Deloitte Legal promoted Alexander Baert and Yannick Van den broeke to partner. With female partners now at 25% of the partnership, Deloitte Belgium remains committed to achieving its ambition of 30% female partners by 2030 as part of its broader diversity and inclusion strategy across all levels of the organisation.

Investments in talent remain a priority. In FY26, Belgian employees received an average of over 33 hours of formal learning. This commitment to continuous professional development is exemplified across our practices. Over the last year, 890 Deloitte practitioners received Core Business Skills training focused on equipping them with the right capabilities to build the business, be stronger leaders and embrace change. Furthermore, 824 Belgian colleagues were trained at the Deloitte University EMEA campus in Paris, contributing to retention and exceptional client service.

“At Deloitte, we cultivate professionals driven by curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset. We believe in building deep expertise that enables our people to take accountability for their work and deliver consistently high-quality outcomes. We invest in continuous learning and career development across functional expertise, industry and sector knowledge, and emerging technologies such as AI. By fostering collaboration within a culture of trust, we strengthen human skills – the ability to create, innovate, and connect – ensuring our teams remain not just technically proficient, but genuinely exceptional at creating enduring, sustainable value for our clients,” says Driesen.

Ecosystems and Alliances

Deloitte continues to combine its award-winning consulting services with the latest innovations from major technology firms. Priority alliances across EMEA include Adobe, AWS, Databricks, Google, IBM, Nvidia, ODOO, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Snowflake, and Workday. This approach enables Deloitte to move beyond traditional consulting, delivering tailored, scalable solutions.

As of 1 June 2026, Deloitte Belgium entered into a three-year strategic partnership with Basketball Belgium as the federation’s Official Digital Transformation Partner. Beyond sponsorship, Deloitte will support the digital transformation of Basketball Belgium, Basketbal Vlaanderen, and AWBB by applying its expertise in digital strategy, artificial intelligence and technology implementation, cybersecurity, and data management. The collaboration aims to enhance digital processes, strengthen data capabilities, and create innovative fan experiences, helping make Belgian basketball more accessible, efficient, and future-oriented for players, clubs, and fans across the country. Grounded in shared values of collaboration, teamwork, and connection, this strategic technology partnership aims to drive sustainable growth and innovation across the Belgian sports industry and, in doing so, make a positive impact on society.
