Survey: CAT221 Insurance Industry Response
As part of Deloitte's review into the insurance industry's response into
the CAT221 event, we conducted a survey to gather valuable insights from insurance policyholders affected by the CAT221 event about the policyholders' experiences with the insurance industry and relevant insurers. The survey closed on 11 August 2023.
The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has engaged Deloitte to conduct an external review into the insurance industry's response to the flooding event across New South Wales and Queensland in early 2022 (also known as 'CAT221').
