Deloitte partnered with a State Transport Operator to establish an integrated planning function that was accountable for creating and managing mid- to long-term traincrew supply and demand forecasts. The client can now forecast out 5 years at a daily level, with forecast accuracy constantly monitored across all levers and time horizons.

Deloitte partnered with a State Health Department to integrate whole of health system planning down to a facility or ward, accounting for health activity, infrastructure, workforce, and costs. This enabled the modelling of a single integrated view of the impact of service changes or infrastructure investments on workforce, cost, capacity and activity over the next 20 years. 

Key highlights:

• Users are able to create ‘what if’ scenarios and see changes at a system, region, facility, and service area levels across activity, workforce, infrastructure, and cost.
  
• Comparisons can also be made between resource unconstrained and constrained environments.
