According to Deloitte’s New-Venture Accelerator, 60 percent of business transactions run in legacy software languages like COBOL and Natural. They can’t stay this way and integrate effectively with new technologies like cloud and mobile.

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare used Application Modernization powered by innoWake to upgrade its more than 20-year-old mainframe that could not keep pace with the increasingly digital needs of the state’s citizens. In just 18 months, 100 percent of the mainframe’s code was refactored and data was migrated to a java platform—without loss of data or code freeze. The department is now able to use web-based tools to build new services, such as automatically generating a notice when an individual has not submitted a child support payment.
