For the first time ever, along with the annual MHI report, we’ll have speaking sessions and a booth for business leaders to engage and discover how Deloitte can help empower their company supply chains with industry-leading practices and warehouse solutions.

Meet us at this year’s biggest manufacturing and supply chain event

Deloitte will be returning to Chicago on March 17 for ProMat 2025—featuring exhibits from top solution providers and a comprehensive list of engaging educational seminars presented by leading manufacturing and supply chain operations professionals.

During the conference, we’ll be hosting multiple speaking sessions focused on enhancing company supply chains through automation technology and optimized omnichannel solutions. And for the first time, we’ll be sponsoring a booth (E12655) located in the Lakeside Center, Hall D, in front of the Supply Chain Technology Theaters. We’re also proud to continue our long-standing partnership with MHI and will be releasing the 2025 MHI Annual Industry Report in a keynote event on Wednesday, March 19, at 1 p.m. ET.

Speaking sessions

March 17 | 1:30–2:15 p.m. ET | Supply Chain Technology Theater 1

This session will highlight the key challenges supply chain and logistics leaders are facing in today’s increasingly dynamic environment and will explore the benefits of enabling a fully integrated distribution center of the future.

March 18 | 2:30–3:15 p.m. ET | Supply Chain Technology Theater 2

This presentation will outline the supply chain challenges of optimizing omnichannel fulfillment, the hidden costs associated with them, and the capabilities required.

March 17 | 10:45–10:55 a.m. ET | The New Warehouse Podcast Booth

Piyush Sampat will sit down with Kevin Lawton in the New Warehouse booth for a livestream podcast. Explore the latest happenings in the warehouse industry and Deloitte’s stance on them. The podcast will also be available here after the livestream.

March 19 | 1:00–1:45 p.m. ET | Grand Ballroom

For the 12th consecutive year, Deloitte and MHI have teamed up to produce the 2025 MHI Annual Industry Report. Deloitte’s Wanda Johnson and MHI CEO John Paxton will be joined by a panel of manufacturing and supply chain thought leaders to present and discuss this year’s report findings. This partnership between Deloitte and MHI has grown into a mutually beneficial union that continues to help build the thought-leading reputation of MHI, while providing an unparalleled platform for us to broadcast our deep industry knowledge. Piyush is a leader in Deloitte’s Retail and Consumer Products Supply Chain practice with more than 25 years of Supply Chain transformation and technology implementation experience. Piyush serves as an advisor to leading retail and consumer products companies to help them transform their Supply Chain and Fulfillment operations to align with consumer demand and expectations. Piyush brings extensive experience leading enterprise transformation supply chain projects with a focus on complex Omni-channel, Inventory and Order Management and Warehouse Management implementations. Previously, Piyush led Retail and Direct to Consumer implementation services for Manhattan Associates and brings significant experience across a wide variety of clients and solutions.

Brian is a principal in Deloitte Consulting’s Industrial Products practice, where he has served for over a decade. He also currently serves as Deloitte’s US Energy, Resources, & Industrials Smart Operations Leader. In his role as the US ER&I Smart Operations leader, he is responsible for a portfolio of sector-targeted offerings that improve process efficiency, productivity, and quality through the application of technology and digital intelligence. He specializes in helping executives at highly engineered product manufacturing companies overcome the complex issues that constrain growth and performance. Brian has a proven track record of delivering measurable step-function improvements in cost, quality, and delivery achievement through scaled transformation efforts and initiatives. He has deep experience in operations strategy, end-to-end supply chain, production system architecture, lean operations, and integrated operations and technology solutions. Brian holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.

Alan Taliaferro is a partner and the Canadian logistics and distribution leader in Deloitte Inc., based in Montreal, Canada. He has over 25 years’ experience in robotics and automation, distribution center design and implementation, as well as distribution network design. He is a leading industry speaker on automation and other logistics and distribution topics. He has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Florida and an MBA from McGill University.
