Agentic AI: From vision to value in manufacturing transformation

Steve Shepley, vice chair, is the US Industrial Products & Construction sector leader. With more than 26 years of experience in the industrial products space, he has insight into trends that can impact highly engineered product manufacturing companies and help drive performance improvements, such as through the use of advanced techniques and technologies.

Patricia Henderson is a senior AI leader in Deloitte Services’ Industrial Products & Construction practice. In this role, she leads the Applied AI Strategic Growth offering, helping Deloitte’s largest IP&C clients create value through the implementation of AI and data. Henderson partners with and advises C-suite and executive leaders on top-line growth, customer acquisition and retention, and bottom-line optimization, by adopting an AI-first mindset for business models and operations.

Pete Robertson is a Managing Director with 16 years of industry and consulting experience leading highly -complex supply chain and business transformations, primarily at manufacturing clients within the Aerospace & Defense industry and industrial products. He has delivered transformational, smart operations capabilities within aftermarket/sustainment operations and logistics that establishes the digital thread linkage to client core business operations - aka the "spine" - which links product development and sales to demand planning and supply chain management to aftermarket spares and services. His projects have delivered significant performance improvement, millions in cost savings, and billions in revenue growth enablement. Pete holds a Bachelors and Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University, as well as an MBA from the University of Texas. Prior to Deloitte, he was an engineer at Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, TX, where he obtained his Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Victor is a managing director in Deloitte’s Human Capital practice, focused on helping organizations reimagine their people strategies and HR capabilities to deliver business results, enhance talent experience, and anticipate and embrace future workforce challenges. He serves as Deloitte’s Human Capital consulting leader for the Industrial Products & Construction sector. In his more than 23 years as a management consultant, he has designed and implemented programs that include talent strategy, acquisition, and development; HR technology strategy and deployment; global shared services and outsourcing; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; and workforce analytics. Victor has served clients in the Americas, Europe, and Southeast Asia, and has worked in multiple industries, including energy, aerospace, financial services, telecom, healthcare, consumer products, retail, and real estate. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Government from Harvard College, and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). For over 15 years, he has led pro bono consulting projects for non-profits across the country. He and his wife live in Washington, DC.
