Deloitte Ascend™ will run on the Dell AI Factory

In today’s market, enterprises have moved past point solutions. AI investment is now organized around end-to-end systems that don't just support AI workloads but accelerate them — and around delivery models that can orchestrate that infrastructure at the pace transformation demands.

In order to facilitate transformation at the speed of business, Deloitte has expanded Deloitte Ascend™, its AI-infused delivery platform, to run on the full AI infrastructure stack from Dell Technologies—including PowerEdge servers, AI PCs and edge devices—all part of the Dell AI Factory. The organization has also developed a validated, integrated path for shared clients: Deloitte's AI-driven delivery intelligence running on Dell's high-performance infrastructure.

What Ascend™ brings

Ascend gives organizations pursuing core modernization, cloud scaling, and enterprise AI adoption a single-entry point to Deloitte's industry experience, proprietary data, agentic workflows, and alliance technologies—orchestrated across the full delivery lifecycle from strategy and design through program management, code generation, data validation, and testing. Tools like AI Assist™ accelerate delivery while improving quality and consistency, and Deloitte's Trustworthy AI™ framework embeds human oversight and governance at every stage, so clients can scale AI deployments with confidence.

What Dell brings

Fully deployed Dell infrastructure via the Dell AI Factory forms an end-to-end stack engineered for production AI workloads, with integrated security and performance characteristics that hold consistently from edge to data center.

What this means

Ascend's agentic delivery stack, AI Assist toolchain, and data validation layer have been validated together on the Dell AI Factory—eliminating the bespoke infrastructure validation that client teams would otherwise repeat.

"Ascend represents Deloitte's vision for how AI-powered transformation should work—intelligent, connected, and built on infrastructure that enterprises can trust. Having Ascend powered by the Dell AI stack means our clients benefit from a fully validated, end-to-end solution where the advisory layer and the technology layer speak the same language. We have strengthened our alliance with Dell and set a new benchmark for how consulting and technology can come together to drive meaningful, measurable impact.”

— Marlin Metzger, principal and Delivery Transformation leader, Deloitte Consulting LLP

What this means for clients

  • A certified path from design to production. Clients may no longer absorb the cost or timeline of validating Ascend against Dell infrastructure themselves; that work is done, with hardware and software layers tested as a system.
  • Deployment continuity across Dell's stack. Ascend operates consistently from edge devices to PowerEdge to the Dell AI Factory, so transformation programs aren't re-architected as they move between tiers.
  • Governance and security by default. Ascend's Trustworthy AI controls and Dell's integrated security architecture are validated together, giving organizations the risk posture to scale AI responsibly without bolting on controls after the fact.

“As Dell set out to transform how we deliver at scale, we needed an AI-enabled platform capable of matching the complexity and ambition of one of our largest enterprise transformations. Ascend delivered—empowering our teams with an intelligent delivery platform that accelerates execution, unifies workflows, and provides real-time AI insights into how we operate.”

— Steve Herington, VP – Business Transformation, Dell Technologies
