Deloitte and Equus Software Launch Strategic Alliance to Transform Global Mobility Management

Alliance enhances Deloitte’s workforce mobility solutions with Equus’ leading technology

NEW YORK, April 3, 2025 — Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte”) and Equus Software, a leader in global workforce mobility technology, today announced a strategic alliance aimed at transforming the management of global mobility programs. The alliance builds on a successful 15-year relationship between Equus and the Global Employer Services (GES) practice of Deloitte Tax, expanding both organizations’ capabilities to better support multinational companies navigating workforce mobility challenges.

As businesses adapt to an increasingly complex global landscape, seamless, technology-driven mobility solutions have become essential for organizations with large, international workforces. The new alliance connects Deloitte’s premier global mobility capabilities with Equus’ advanced technology, creating the opportunity for a transformative mobility management experience.

"Deloitte’s alliance with Equus represents a significant step forward in our ability to deliver new, innovative and effective mobility solutions to our clients,” said Edward Hannibal, GES alliance leader, Deloitte Tax LLP. "By combining our strengths and offering scalable, customer-focused solutions that meet the evolving needs of a global workforce, we are well-positioned to transform global mobility management and empower our clients to achieve their strategic goals."

A key component of the relationship are the deep synergies between Deloitte's advisory services and Equus technology solutions, allowing for an intuitive, seamless experience for both employees and mobility teams. By teaming Deloitte’s deep global mobility experience with Equus’ advanced technology, Deloitte and Equus are redefining workforce mobility – enhancing efficiency, compliance, and user experience for global organizations.

As part of the alliance, Deloitte and Equus will collaborate on several new initiatives, including:

  • Reimagined Business Travel Services: Deloitte already leads in the market in business travel tools and services. New integrations between the Equus and Deloitte platforms will offer even greater insights on business travel services and remote work.
  • Scaled Approached for Small to Medium-sized Programs: Managing global mobility programs is challenging in today’s complex economic environment, and not all programs are the same. As locations multiply, smaller organizations may struggle to keep pace. Deloitte and Equus are prepared to help organizations of any size manage their mobile workforces with ease.
  • New End-to-End Mobility Services for all Programs: Deloitte and Equus will offer reimagined approaches to streamline processes, enhanced employee experiences, and will provide data-driven insights to optimize all aspects of mobility, from planning and managing expenses to ensuring compliance.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with Deloitte through this strategic alliance," said Tyler Reynolds, CEO of Equus Software. "Combining our innovative technology with Deloitte's unparalleled leadership in global mobility will empower organizations to manage their international workforces more efficiently and effectively, driving greater success and compliance in an increasingly complex global regulatory environment.”

Historically, global mobility programs have traditionally been complex, fraught with risks, and disruptive for both employers and employees. International organizations often face regulatory, tax, and compliance challenges inherent to managing multinational workforces. Despite these demands, many still handle compliance, data management, and country-specific reporting requirements manually or without fully leveraging modern technology.

"This alliance is about going all in on our clients. Bringing the knowledge and experience of both our organizations together allows us to better serve all market segments and deliver an exceptional digital end-to-end mobility service to our clients," said Peter Simeonidis, Global GES practice leader, Deloitte Tax LLP. "With this alliance, we remain committed to leading the market and reshaping how global talent mobility will be administered for years to come.”
